God did this when he made the world. When God made the sun, the moon, and all the stars he shouted, "It is good!" When he made the oceans and the fish, the dry land and all the animals, he again shouted, "It is good!" That was God’s way of saying, "Wow! Look what I made!"
Then God made a human being, Adam, and then another human being, Eve. Do you know what God said then? He said, "It is very good!" Again, God was saying, "Wow, look at what I have made!"
Do you know that that’s how God feels about you? You are one of his most cherished creations. When God looks at you He says, "Wow! Look at what I’ve made! Such a beautiful child, full of goodness and life! It is very good!"
Remember that when Jesus walked this earth He reached out to the little children, "and He took them in his arms and blessed them." Jesus wanted them to know that they were precious in God’s eyes. He wants you to know that, too.
Let’s close our eyes and feel God’s love
together. Please say with me the words to "Jesus Loves Me."
Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible
tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong. They are weak
but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.
Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells
me so.
You are God’s precious creation, His dear
child. And that is the truth!
Let’s pray:
Lord, thank You for Your love which is
total and complete and forever. Help us to always remember how much we
are loved by You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
