We’re used to things we can see. And we like things that we can see with our own eyes and feel with the touch of our own hands. A toy. An apple. The hand of a friend. The hug of a family member. But we can’t see God. Why is that?
Well, God is invisible. He is a spiritual
being, not a physical one. That way God can be everywhere . . . . at all
times . . . . with everyone. He can be with your parents at work or out
running errands, and still be with you at school or out at play.
He can be with your relative who may live out
of state, and still be right at your side as you read this book and think
about him. Since God is invisible he can be everywhere!
You know, some of the most important things in life are invisible. Air. Wind. Gravity. Love. You can’t see any of them, but you can feel them all -- the wind on your face, the air that you breath, and the love that surrounds you that makes you feel good all over.
That’s the way it is with God. You can often feel God when you pray, when you sing a song, when you’re in church, or where ever you are. God is there . . . . with you . . . always. That’s how big and how great God is!
Let’s pray about this:
Dear God, how wonderful it is that You
are with us always. Help us never forget that we are never alone. Your
love surrounds us wherever we are and wherever we go. Thank You for being
with us right now. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
