Here's What's Happening - Week of Sept. 5 |

Rally Day is Next Sunday!!! Mark your calendars because September 12th is the first day of Church School. To help us better figure out how many kids we will have, please fill out a registration form. Forms are available in the church office, at coffee hour and even on our website! We will also have a registration table open during coffee hour on Rally Day. Also, we are still looking for teachers for our 4th and 5th grade class. No experience necessary and we provide the materials! We set-up teaching teams to give opportunities for our teachers to attend church on the weeks they aren’t teaching. Please contact Linda H. at 363-3758 or Keri Harrod at 363-2653. We also need some volunteers willing to be substitute teachers for the pre-school class downstairs. Susan O’Connell has tackled this job on her own, but sometimes needs someone to fill in for her.

Scripture: Luke 12:32-34

Make purses for yourselves that do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Scripture: Luke 12:13-21
13Someone in the crowd said to [Jesus], “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the family inheritance with me.” 14But he said to him, “Friend, who set me to be a judge or arbitrator over you?” 15And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.” 16Then he told them a parable: “The land of a rich man produced abundantly.
