The First Parish Church (FPC) has partnered with the Good Shepherds Bank (GSB) to allow the secure electronic processing (E-Giving) of Contributions and Donations. The GSB is an internet bank that provides this service to Churches and other Faith-Based Organizations with easy to understand instructions.

One registers an account with a name and other relevant information necessary for the FPC's record keeping. An email address and a user specified password are used by the GSB to provide one with access to one's own secure personal account information.

By "clicking" the link below one will be directed to a secure website that will let one make Contributions to the FPC directly from a bank account without the need for a paper check. Many use this method to pay utility bills, make mortgage payments, or make other repeating payments.

One chooses whether a payment is a one-time Contribution or a recurring Contribution of user determined frequency. These electronic payments can be to fulfill a pledge commitment, to make a contribution to the Our Churches Wider Mission (OCWM), or to make any other gift. If one authorizes a recurring Donation one will receive an e-mail notice in advance of any payment.

If one does not respond to this e-mail, the amount one previously authorized will automatically be transferred from the bank account to the FPC. In every case one receives an e-mail informing one of any payment transfer, and confirming the transaction for one's own financial records.

One also chooses the purpose of the Donation and the amount. There are check boxes that represent your choice(s) and even a box where one specifies a special designation. These choices are recorded and provided to the FPC for appropriate recording.

Any information provided through this system will be treated with the same privacy that the FPC applies to all donations. This policy specifies that only the Parish Financial Secretary (the record keeper for personal donations) and those supporting the Financial Secretary will have access to giving records.
