Scripture Readings

We recommend two to three Scripture passages for your service. Here are
some suggestions:

Genesis:18-24 John 15:9-12, 12-16
Ruth 1:16-17 Romans 8:35-39

Song of Solomon 2:8-10,

14, 16, or 8:6-7

Romans 12:1-2, 9-18
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 I Corinthians 13
Matthew 7:21, 24-29 Ephesians 5:21-33 or 25-33
Matthew 19:3-6 Colossians 3:12-17
Matthew 22:35-40 I John 3:18-24
John 2:1-11 I John 4:7-12

Please read them together and pick the ones you'd like for your ceremony.

Wedding Vows

Below are the standard vows. You may amend them or write your own. Some couples wish to say something to each other during the ceremony in their own words and then say the traditional vows. It's up to you.

I, ____________, take you, ____________, to be my wedded
wife/husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better
for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and
to cherish, as long as we both shall live.

Ring Exchange

_______, I give you this ring, as a symbol of my love and
faithfulness, and with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you, in
the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
