Rev. Linda B. Hirst - Pastor First Parish Congregational Church

Linda has been at First Parish since January, 1999.  She grew up in Connecticut and she and her husband Brad have two sons, Nathan and Andrew.

Linda attended Bangor Theological Seminary with her husband, and is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. She and Brad moved to Lee County, Virginia where they worked with the Appalachia Service Project, a home-repair and home-building ministry.  After several years they made their way back to Connecticut and then to York, Maine. Linda loves the many aspects of ministry, although Mission and Christian Education hold special places in her heart.  She loves the outdoors and wishes she spent as much time actually hiking as she does talking about it.

Linda is in her study most mornings.  It is suggested that one make an appointment to see her by calling the office at (207) 363-3758.  One may also contact her by email.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of our church is to create a fellowship that celebrates and reflects the presence of Christ. Through worship and spiritual growth we will equip ourselves and go forth to share God's love in word and deed within our community and throughout the world.
